Today’s weather forecast indicates an orange level 5 warning of disruptive rainfall leading to flooding of roads and settlements is expected in KZN and the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, the eastern and northern parts of Limpopo, and the Lowveld and escarpment areas in Mpumalanga. Yellow level 2 warning of Disruptive rainfall leading to localised flooding of bridges, roads and settlements is expected in the eastern parts of both Free State and North-West as well as the central parts of the Eastern Cape. A Yellow Level 2 Warning for Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, heavy downpours and excessive lightning resulting in localised flooding of susceptible areas, localised damages of property, and disruptions of communication and municipality services is expected in Gauteng, the south-western parts of Limpopo as well as the Highveld areas of Mpumalanga (credit: Vox weather).
