  1. As I walk alone I wonder what went wrong
With our love a love that was so strong
And as I still walk on I think of
    The things we've done together
    While our hearts were young

    I'm walking in the rain
Tears are falling and I feel the pain
Wishing you were here by me
To end this misery and I wonder
I won, won, won, won wonder
Why why why why why why she ran away
And I wonder where she will stay
My little runaway run, run, run, run runaway

    I'm walking in the rain
Tears are falling and I feel the pain
Wishing you were here by me
To end this misery and I wonder
I won, won, won, won wonder
Why why why why why why she ran away
And I wonder where she will stay
My little runaway run, run, run, run runaway
    Run run run run runaway

  2. My father's 1961 Cadillac played this as soon you turned the key…every single time no matter what time of day that song would come on the radio, and the radio would not shut off until this song was done and it was so loud which is very weird for that type of radio Motorola..?.I found that very odd to this day ??

  3. I was 10 years old, having a febrile fit and it was 0300. For some reason, i started singing this song and it woke my mum up. She used to listen to this all the time. Almost like an alarm. If I hadn't started singing this, there's a good chance I wouldn't be here today. Funny how things work out. I couldn't recite the song now but for sone reason, I could recite it word for word that night.

  4. Love this song! I can play it over and over, and not tire of it. Also, liked an alternate version of the song that was the opening theme song for the 80’s tv show “Crime Story” (one of my favorite all time shows).
