My Perfect ACFT Score – Army Combat Fitness Test

Today I take the army combat fitness test (ACFT). My initial goal was to ace the test with a score of 600, but did I do it? This challenge includes 3 repetitions of maximum deadlift, standing power throw, hand release push-up, sprint-drag-carry, plank, and the run event. Follow along to see if I ACE it!

  1. No, or at least, it shouldn't. If you can't keep up with the men, then you shouldn't be in the military. It puts everyone elses lives in danger when the women can't keep up.

  2. cool… those power throws
do better going more for height
    and letting some sling happen
    like a glide shot-putter back
    rather than an over-strict
    olift back… you were doing
more of a reverse dunk than
    going truly ballistic… too bad
    they ditched the knee tuck
    which was better as more
    practical fitness

  3. So, in other words. The Army's newer PT test is stupid. Sorry, I'm speaking as an Army Vet who at 6'4, 220 back in the day, would of had a totally unfair advantage in this PT test vs the average sized man at 5'10 180, given they DON'T ADJUST WEIGHTS.

  4. I did pretty good on the ACFT , the only thing I sucked at ( still passed ) was the power throw , I got a 70 , I was so pissed ?, but I got 3 100s a 99 and 92 .

  5. SO sorry to see that you landed in Ft Hood/Killeen…….BLOWN AWAY by what you are making of it. My father retired as a LT Col there so I did my time, GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Things that would dq her how rough she was with the drop on deadlift pointer fingers not under her shoulder blades and her body not raising as one straight line and solid motion. All that nitpicking aside she killed it. I only bring this up because unit and NCO dependant some people are sticklers for regulation…and no we don't get music or TikTok, motivation comes from a sense of duty, love of country, and fear of getting counseled for being a fat body.

  7. On that sled drag carry that wasn’t the accurate weight and some of those forms should had been terminated . That wasn’t a 595 ?

  8. Why isn't this a funtional fitness test? Replicate what they have to do on the field, run, carry people, fight, dig, climb etc. This looks like crossfit but it has no carry over. I'm guessing they want more women to pass.
